I just wish I had the words to sing to mommy and daddy tomorrow (8/28) as they celebrate their ONE YEAR wedding anniversary. I don't think they are going to exchange gifts - they keep telling me that I am their gift. I sure am thankful God brought them together and that I get to celebrate with them this first year and for many years to come.
Here are some pictures of my third week. ENJOY!
Mom and I venture out to the grocery store for the first time. Mom's got to figure out where to put the groceries b/c I take up the whole grocery cart :)
I sure enjoy making funny faces
Mommy says I look so different in this photo. So - do I look more like my mom or my dad?
This is me today, on my 3-week birthday.
Ah, the "where to put the carseat" struggle at the grocery store!! Been there, done that! =) You can actually position the carseat on top of the section where toddlers usually sit. Otherwise, you're right, grocery shopping is a challenge! Or you can take short daily grocery trips and use your stroller basket! Both of those strategies got me through the early weeks and months! =) Good luck, she is a beautiful gift indeed!
ReplyDeleteYes, I did what Helen did and put my infant carseat on the toddler seat. There was an indent on mine just for that purpose. Or alternatively, if you have a Baby Bjorn-type carrier, that can work too.
