As you'll see in my photos below, I'm growing up so much. I can hold my own head up now - and I can push up on my arms when I'm on my belly. Mommy says that means I'm gonna be turning over soon - and that she'll have to start being so much more careful where she puts me down.
This week was pretty fun. These days I go to sleep after my 7pm feeding, only for mom to wake me up around 10pm to feed me one more time (she read it is called the "dream feed"). Then I sleep til around 4 - 5am and then back to sleep until mom wakes me up around 7:30am to start a new day. She's waiting for me to not wake up so early and sleep all the way until 7am, but I'm just not quite ready yet.
Also this week - Melanie (mom's friend from when they worked together in Vienna, Austria) came for a visit - and that was super fun. And, I made my first trip to Olive Garden (one of mommy's favorite restaurants) to have lunch with mom's friends, Eury (and Caleb) & Carol. I was sooo good that day - didn't cry even once in my car seat -- my mom was so happy. And, on Friday, daddy didn't go in to work (b/c he was on call on Thursday night and he was up a lot - I even got to see him when I was up at 4:30am) so I had a lot of fun playing with him during the day and showing him all my new tricks.
OK - now for what you really want to see -- me in photos.
Be sure to take note of my daddy's bed head :)
Mommy put this in my hand - and I am holding on tight
My new favorite toy. It makes great music - I especially like the drums.
Mommy and daddy laugh as I keep hitting myself in the head with this rattle
Look how strong I am - holding myself up like this
These are from today - on my 8th week birthday :) My parents dressed me in warm clothes b/c we went outside to walk around and do some shopping
One of my daddy's patients made me this cute hat
And, some video footage of my week:
