Fifty-One Weeks Old

Today is my Poppy's Birthday AND my Nana and Poppy's 50th Wedding Anniversary.  - a HUGE shout out to them.  Wish I were there to celebrate with you!!
I have another new tooth coming in this week.  And, it is on the top too. So, my teeth count is now up to FIVE. :)
I continue to take more and more steps on my own.  I am becoming quite brave, letting go of things and taking off.  Mommy bought me a pair of shoes this week - but those things were so heavy I could barely lift my feet.  I was NOT a fan.  Sure hope I can walk around barefoot the rest of my life. :)
I also love throwing stuff on the ground and bending down to pick it up - while holding on to something.  I am getting pretty good at this.  Mommy tried to get a video of this but every time she took out the camera I would just walk towards her instead.
We are now part of a Wednesday play group from our church.  This week instead of meeting at a park, we met at the home of one of the ladies.   I sure enjoyed playing with the other kids (2 little boys about my age and lots of older kids), and Mommy enjoyed getting time with other mommies.
I am becoming a bit more of a picky eater.  Several times this week I have protested to what Mommy was feeding me even though in the past I have eaten cauliflower for lunch or broccoli for dinner or prunes/apples for breakfast.  It is quite fun to hit the spoon and watch the food fly all over.  Mommy should have taken a few pictures, but I think she was too upset with me to stop and do that.  She hopes I will outgrow this soon and learn to eat like a little lady.
I finally got a new car seat this week (thanks Uncle Charlie and Auntie Abby for ordering it for me!).  And, I much prefer facing forward where I can see out the window and see Mommy & Daddy.

Enjoy photos of my 51st week:

And a few videos, too:

This week I decided to make walking a bit more challenging by covering my eyes:

Getting frustrated when I cannot reach something:
