Thirty-Eight Weeks Old

It's been a pretty fun week.  I continue to grow and learn so many new things each and every day.  Mommy and Daddy are amazed at what a big girl I am becoming - I'm all grown up :).  I love walking around the room holding on to someone's fingers.  I love standing on the outside of my jumper and playing with it from a new perspective (holding myself up the whole time).  I love sitting in the corner of my bedroom playing with my stuffed animals (the panda and Minnie Mouse are my favorites).  I love talking on Skype to my family who live far away  and show them all my skills (so fun to talk with my Poppy, Nana, and Auntie Celeste in Georgia - AND getting to talk with my NaiNai and meet my Auntie Althea and new cousin, Nathan in Texas).


I had another new syllable this week.  "ma" - and you can guess which parent I made super happy as I strung it together to say "mama" :)


A couple of other things:  Mommy and daddy found my first mole/freckle - it's on my left hip.  New Foods this week:  broccoli, a wee bit of baked potato, mashed potatoes, spiral pasta, and a few bites of mac-n-cheese.


I am staying in the nursery better each time mommy and daddy drop me off.  I cry for a bit, but then I settle down and anxiously await their return.
