Twenty-Nine Weeks Old

Another fantastic week:

Last Sunday, we went to meet the newest addition to the Choi family - baby Jonathan.  While the old folks (our parents) were visiting, I began to play with a helium-filled balloon.  It was the first time daddy really heard me laugh.  As we were leaving, those sweet Chois gave me the balloon to bring home (even though it says "It's a Boy").  See the video below for some of the fun daddy & I had with it.

Mommy and I went to MOPS on Thursday - and i stayed in the nursery the entire time.  Mommy was SUPER excited!

Eating schedule:  Morning- breastfeed and then I get cereal (rice & oatmeal) mixed with a bit of mashed bananas and a few tablespoons of prunes (mommy says her grand-daddy Kenney would be proud - he ate prunes every day too).  Noon - breastfeed and then usually an orange veggie (butternut squash, carrots, or sweet potatoes) and some fruit (applesauce, pears, peaches, or mangoes).  Afternoon - just breastfeed.  Dinner - breastfeed followed by cereal (rice & oatmeal) with some green beans or an orange veggie (b/c I still do NOT like peas) and a few bites of fruit.

Mommy and I are still working on my sleeping schedule.  I eat at about the same time most days but my sleeping has been more sporadic.  I used to sleep until around 7am most days, but this week it's been more like 6:00 or 6:30.  I have started waking up and flipping over and then not able to go back to sleep b/c I cant flip back over.  So, most mornings this week, mommy has come and gotten me between 5:30 and 6:00 and we've gotten in the big bed in hopes that I'd go back to sleep (sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't).  Then for my morning naps, sometimes I sleep for 2 hours and other days only 45 minutes - same thing with my afternoon nap.  And, then depending on how those two naps go - some afternoons I need a late-afternoon nap.  (And for those of you who know my mommy well, you  know that this lack of consistency really throws her off & she doesn't know what to do -- so if you have any advice, please help her out! :)

It has been a pretty fun week.  I'm smiling and laughing more.  And, mommy & daddy say I am growing up so fast.  I'm learning all sorts of things (I can unzip mommy's jacket. I can pull a towel from my face or mommy's face when playing peek-a-boo.  I can feed myself a little banana Yum-Yum. I can now move the monkeys on my exersaucer.)

After I wake up from a nap, I get some toys to play with in my crib
