This week I have acquired a new skill - I can now sit up without any help. Sometimes I still topple over so mommy or daddy have to pad the area around me so that I don't get hurt. I am enjoying looking at the world around me from a new perspective (instead of laying down all the time). And another fun thing mommy and I often do is sit on the floor of the family room and play with some pots and lids that mommy has brought out for me (who needs to pay good money for expensive toys?? :) - you'll see pictures below of my playing.
On Monday, my NaiNai came over to play with me while my daddy and mommy went out on a date. They were so thankful to have this time together and got back in time to feed me and read me a book before bedtime.
There were a couple of days this week that I wouldn't nap well at all and this made those days really long for mommy but other days were splendid and we had a great time.
On Saturday, mommy and I went with daddy to work. It was so much fun to see where my daddy goes when he leaves me during the day, and I enjoyed meeting the people that he works with. Of course, he loved showing me off, and everyone thought I was super cute.
New on the menu this week was peaches. Mommy says that I have to like those since I am half Georgia-peach.
Tomorrow (Monday) I go back to see my doc and get some more of those shots - so mommy and daddy would appreciate your prayers.
