Mommy and I had a great time in GA from last Saturday to Wednesday. I loved getting to be with Nana for Mother's (Grandmother's) Day, and it was so fun spending time with Poppy, Nana, Auntie Celeste, and Uncle Calvin. The only tough part of the trip was that my Separation Anxiety was at an all-time high, and Mommy couldn't even put me down without me bursting into tears. It made for a really tiring trip for my mom - but she says it was still worth it. Some of the fun things from our time in GA: walking on the beach, going for a ride in the Parker's Red Bug (golf cart) (Thanks Mr. Thorny and Mrs. Harriet!), riding on Poppy's shoulders, lots of time playing at the coffee table in Nana & Poppy's den (except for the one time I fell and bit my tongue - my first experience of bleeding - but, thankfully, it didn't last too long), reading books with Auntie Celeste, and laying on the bed talking with my Nana. Mommy also really enjoyed the fried shrimp at B&J's in Darien, but she wouldn't share with me :(
As much fun as I had in Georgia, there is truly no place like home. I sure missed my Daddy - and have loved spending time with him the rest of the week. For the first time on Friday, I cried as he drove off in the morning to go to work (Mommy and Daddy said it was so sad but also super sweet). I've had lots of times of smiling and laughing as you'll see in the pictures and videos below.
