(mommy is having major difficulties with the layout this week - please excuse the formatting)
My mommy wouldn't type for me last week because we were busy travelling on Saturday and playing with family on Sunday. On Saturday, May 12th, Mommy and I flew to GA to be with Nana for Mother's Day. Thus, mommy didn't have much time on the computer to get this blog done.
But, here are a few exciting things from my 40th week: (she's working on typing up my 41st week for me now :)
- I love standing up, holding on to any furniture or toys that are my height. (see pictures below)
- When asked for a kiss, I love opening my mouth and giving a big ol' slobbery wet one to my mommy and daddy.
- I love going out to the mailbox in the afternoon and opening it by myself.
- I took my first flight from Chicago to Nashville to Jacksonville on Southwest Airlines. And, I did pretty good - I took a good nap for the first leg and played/read/ate some snacks for the second leg. Everyone around us was super shocked (and excited) at how good I was - they especially loved me giggling as mommy & I read my new favorite book, "Seymour the Sea Turtle."
- And, I turned 9 MONTHS OLD this week (Sunday, May 6th)
- My NaiNai came back to town on Thursday. I sure did miss her! I was glad to get time with her on Friday before we left town on Saturday.
